| Description | To upgrade and repair the primary server to the installation’s access control systems in Bldg 929 to support 22 buildings/657 card readers (see Table 1 below), located on Maxwell AFB to enhance installation security. The Access Control System must be user friendly and ensure building managers maintain the ability to lock down individual or all doors at their own buildings (see Table 1 below). The workstation at Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC), Bldg 929, shall have lock down capabilities for all 22 building. An alternate BDOC workstation shall be set up at Bldg 834 to duplicate the workstation capabilities in Bldg 929. Additionally, the contractor shall install a new backup server in Bldg. 800, to prevent system failure and loss of system information. The backup server in Bldg. 800 shall duplicate the capabilities of the primary server in Bldg 929. |
