Jones Pipeline Project

The Jones Pipeline Project replaces existing transite pipe with new isolation valves and PVC pipe Northwest of Newton Town. New pipe will range in size from 15" to 4" diameter P.I.P. PVC pipe over 14,300 ft. Along the pipeline, approximately twenty-two connections, which include air vacs and valves, will be made to shareholders to supply water to fields and homes. Two pressure reducing valve (PRV) stations will be installed. Permits required for the completion of this project include but are not limited to the following: Storm Water Prevention Plan, a Newton Town Encroachment Permit, and UDOT encroachment permit. The installation of this project is to be completed late spring early summer. Existing pipeline is to be in service during construction of the project and will be abandoned in place at the completion of the project.
