Description

The contractor shall provide all professional services necessary to remove the existing generator and pad, build a new pad, place new, government supplied, generator on the pad, and hook up to the electrical system at the USDA, ARS, Stuttgart National Aquaculture Research Center (SNARC), 2955 AR-130, Stuttgart, AR 72160. This Solicitation is a Request for Quote, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, for a firm fixed priced construction purchase order. The USDA ARS requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided to The contractor shall provide all professional services necessary to remove the existing generator and pad, build a new pad, place new, government supplied, generator on the pad, and hook up to the electrical system at the USDA, ARS, Stuttgart National Aquaculture Research Center (SNARC), 2955 AR-130, Stuttgart, AR 72160 and provide a detailed quote and cost breakdown for the project. Preparation for this work will involve dialog with site personnel to determine the specific requirements. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, drawings, and specifications contained in the solicitation documents. A site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 9:30 a. m. at SNARC in the Large Conference Room located at 2955 Highway 130 E, Stuttgart, AR 72160. Participants will meet at: USDA-ARS, SNARC 2955 Highway 130 E Stuttgart, AR 72160 For the site visit, we ask the following: The names of any visitors, and whether or not they are US citizens (if not, they should bring a passport). Quote must be received not later than 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time Friday, August 12, 2022. Quote must be emailed to: Jessica Pacheco, Contract Specialist USDA ARS SEA AAO jessica.pacheco@usda.gov Please include a detailed breakdown of price with various cost elements (e.g. materials, sub-costs, controllers, etc.) Additional quote instructions can be found in Section L. All questions pertaining to this solicitation, including questions that arise during the site visit, must be submitted to jessica.pacheco@usda.gov by COB, Monday, August 8, 2022. Questions that are not submitted in writing or that are not submitted by the deadline, may not receive a response. Questions/answers discussed at the site visit will not be binding on the resultant contract unless submitted in writing and incorporated into the solicitation by amendment. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $25,000 and $100,000 To obtain clarifications and/or additional information concerning the contract requirements, specifications and/or drawings, submit a written RFI utilizing the RFI Form attached to this Solicitation, send via email to jessica.pacheco@usda.gov. The subject line of the email must read 'RFI - 12405B22Q0274'. RFIs must be specific identifying section, paragraph and page no. of the specifications or cite the drawing number and must be in question format. All RFIs submitted shall include the solicitation number and title, contractor name, city, state, telephone, email address, date submitted, and the RFI question(s). RFI responses will be posted to www.fbo.gov as necessary in amendment format. Deadline for submission of RFIs for this solicitation is close of business August 05, 2022. No questions will be answered after this date unless determined to be in the best interest of the Government as deemed by the Contracting Officer. Telephone requests for information will not be accepted or returned. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
