Learning Garden Expansion Project

As of August 11, 2022, a designer has been selected. Bidding is anticipated to take place in the fall of 2022 and construction to start in the spring of 2023. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The District is requesting proposals for landscape design services for expanding the Learning Garden located on the Layton campus. Weber Basin Water Conservancy District, a water conservancy district organized under the laws of the State of Utah (hereinafter referred to as the "District"), seeks to retain landscape design services related to the design of an expansion to the water conservation Learning Garden. The District will be increasing the size of the Learning Garden by expanding educational exhibits and landscaped areas on its Layton campus located at 2837 E. Highway 193. This project consists of the landscape design, preparation of bidding documents, cost estimates for construction, and project management services during construction to ensure the design intent is met. The project will need to be completed by a qualified landscape architect or firm that has such qualified staff on their team. This is not an average commercial landscape project; therefore, the selected design team will work closely with District staff to ensure that the project and the mission and objectives of the District in its purposes for the Learning Garden are maintained throughout the design process.
