Description

Work consists of removing existing 6-inch water main and installing approximately 11,000 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main and appurtenances on Dedham Street, Elm Street, and Green Lodge Street. The new water main work will also include new hydrants and new services. Surface restoration work includes permanent trench patching on Dedham Street and on Green Lodge Street and pavement overlay on portions of Elm Street. The project also includes temporary by-passing piping and services on Elm Street and Green Lodge Street. Bid alternate includes construction and installation of a precast three-sided concrete box culvert and associated work on Elm Street.
