Description | The Work consists of the approximate quantities: 8,580 CY Common Excavation 2,830 TONS HMA Pavement 12,665 TONS Base Aggregate Dense 7,610 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter 12,115 SF Concrete Sidewalk 625 LF Storm Sewer 3,975 LF Water Main 2,050 LF Water Service 3,445 LF Sanitary Sewer Lining 7,700 SY Restoration Bids will be received on a unit price basis. Est. Completion Date: Sept. 1, 2023 All interested parties are invited to attend. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashier's check as bid security, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Port Washington as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award of Contract. Should any bid be rejected, such bid security will be forthwith returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such bid bond or check will be returned upon the timely and proper execution and securing of the Contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute the Contract and Performance Bond, the amount of the bid bond or check shall be forfeited to the City of Port Washington as liquidated damages. The City of Port Washington reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities in bidding, or accept the bid(s) which serves the best interest of the City.
