Description

Qualified Vendors to provide asbestos surveying and testing to determine the locations and quantities of asbestos containing materials as defined by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) - that is, material containing greater than 1% by weight of asbestos. The sampling must be sufficient to accurately project the quantity of asbestos to be abated. Testing of suspect samples shall be provided by a NVLAP accredited laboratory, utilizing Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) with dispersion staining, in accordance with current regulatory requirements.
