Edwin J Bowman Field Work

The Work is for the complete replacement of the infield playing surface and installation of an outfield warning track at Edwin J. Bowman Field. The existing grass on the infield must be removed, surface laser graded to proper level and elevation, excavation may necessary, reinstall grass infield, relocate bases, install and mark base anchors, replace home plate and batter’s boxes, rebuild pitcher’s mound on the field, and in both bullpens. Removal of short outfield grass may be needed to achieve proper elevation and remove lips. Outfield warning track must meet standard regulations, extending a minimum of 15 feet from the outfield fence and circling the outfield from dugout to dugout, preparation of ground for warning track may include minor excavation and tree root removal.
