Replacement Doors for US Coast Guard, Cape May, NJ

The work consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment, as required to replace the existing (6) wood doors (2- PP HEADS, and 4- LOCKER ROOMS/ HEADS), located at the GALLEY, BLD # 278 at Coast Guard TRACEN located at 1 Munro Ave. Cape May, NJ 08204. 1) Remove existing 6 wood doors (frames stay in place). See attached floor plan for locations. 2) Dispose of existing 6 doors and hardware. 3) Install 6 new 18-gauge galvannealed metal doors. 4) The 2 doors in the PP (Permanent Party) are 3’/0 x 7’/0 x 1-3/4” thick. 5) The 4 doors in the locker room/heads are 3’/0 x 6’/8” x 1-3/4” thick. 6) All new doors to have new s/s hinges. 7) All new doors to have a 12” x 24” louvered vent near the bottom of doors. 8) All new doors to have new stainless steel kickplates (8” x 34”). 9) Each door to have new stainless or satin chrome finish pull plates(with handles)and push plates (4” x 16”). 10) Install heavy-duty door closers on each door. 11) Each door to be painted Sherwin Williams color Gey P-6 PI DTM Ultra semi-gloss. 12) All areas must be restored to pre-install condition.
