Description | 1.Removal and reinstallation of the lightning protection system is to be performed by a Underwriters Laboratories, (UL) certified installer, licensed to perform Lightning Protection (LP) work in Florida. 2.Remove the existing metal counter-flashings, Lower roof coping cap and eave metals and dispose of properly. 3.Install rigid flue filler insulation with a Dexcell cover board over the existing metal roof and wall panels to provide a smooth substrate for the new roof assembly. 4.Install new pressure treated wood blocking at the same height of the new roof insulation along the roof edge attached with HD screws 6” oc into the existing steel. 5.Extend all existing roof curbs and/or vents as needed for new roof assembly. 6.Install an Energy star rated 60 mil green thermoplastic roof membrane with a weft inserted scrim that has a minimum breaking strength of 437 lbf over the new insulation. 7.All membrane flashings excluding two way vents are to be Green. 8.Adhere all flashings up and over the existing parapet walls. 9.North high wall section is to be terminated at existing Duro-last fascia metal. 10.The roof system shall be installed in a neat and professional manner, and shall be attached to the steel substrate in accordance to FL16039-R15. 11.Provide and install new prefinished all term at the low roof parapets, and fascia bar with prefinished classic green cover at the upper roof parapets. 12.Provide and install new 24 gauge prefinished gutters and downspouts to be tied into the Duro-Last roof system. (Color is to be EM Classic Green) 13.The downspouts for the upper roof shall be tied into the existing drainage system. 14.The downspouts for the lower roof shall be discharged into ABS plastic installed underground and discharged into the adjacent retention pond. 15.Provide and install two way relief vents to be placed at one per one thousand square foot.
