Description | The City of Beachwood is seeking companies to provide the best and most cost-efficient improvements and repairs for the replacement of non-functional parking lot lights and the addition of LED lights to existing light poles located in the City Hall, Community Center, Police Department and Aquatic Facility parking lots. The contractor should supply 2-3 head options for the City to review along with LED options. A voltage change to poles from 480V to single phase 277V will be required. The contractor will leave all existing poles in place and undamaged. Any wiring issues will need to be identified and included in the proposal. The contractor will need to provide all materials, labor and equipment to complete the project. Recycling of materials removed will be a part of the overall project. The project will need to be completed by October 1, 2023 but can be adjusted based on lead time of material. A 15% contingency should be included in the project cost. Each proposal must contain the following: 1) The full name and names of the party or parties (Non-Collusion Affidavit); and 2) Evidence of General Liability Insurance from a company licensed by the State of Ohio in the amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) for any accidental occurrence arising out of any act or omission by the Contractor which causes bodily harm or property damage, and shall cause the City to be named as an additional insured on the policy; and 3) Evidence of Workers' Compensation coverage.
