Description

Clarion County Career Center did not receive any bids for this project, therefore the bid process closed without an award. Clarion County Career Center is accepting sealed bids for Construction of ADA Compliant Locker Room. Clarion County Career Center reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality, and increase or decrease quantities after bids have been received. o Convert one large room to two individual spaces by constructing a wall between the two o Construct a wood frame wall with drywall finish on both sides o Drywall two existing walls currently finished with paneling o Paint newly installed drywall and block walls in both rooms *paint color to be chosen by the Career Center o Adapt existing drop ceiling to join newly constructed wall o Change electric wiring to allow for independent control of existing lighting in each room o Relocation of receptacles and emergency call button o Add Honeywell fire alarm (horn/strobe) to second room to be connected into existing Honeywell fire alarm system o Change existing double door entry to single wood door entry (privacy door) with hardware keyed to existing locks o Paint newly constructed locker room hallway entrance to match existing hallway walls o Remove existing carpet from entire space and install commercial grade vinyl tile flooring o Installation of 35' of 3-wide double tier lockers o Installation of a bench in the center of the locker room secured to floor o ADA, Fire & School Construction Code compliance is required o Bidder is responsible for disposal of demolition and construction materials o Bidder is responsible to obtain any required permits and occupancy inspections o Bidder is responsible to schedule appointment to view work areas prior to bid submission o Bid to include line items costs for labor and material. o Bid to include warranty of work. o Bid to include estimated time to complete project * must be completed by August 18, 2023 o Project to be scheduled during the summer of 2023, when school is not in session o Successful bidder must supply Certificate of Liability prior to work being completed. o Bidder to obtain Act 34, 114, & 151 clearances for workers
