Commissioning Agent for New County Facilities

Proposer to provide commissioning services for a new Mosquito Management Facility, Fire Emergency Management Services (EMS) Regional Training Facility, and Fire Station #23 (Nokomis). Commissioning services shall be provided in accordance with the USGBC LEED BD and C Building Rating System. The consultant shall attend meetings as requested by the County. The scope of services may include, but is not limited to the following tasks: A. Review preliminary design documents and recommend changes to comply with LEED Commissioning Requirements, County’s project requirements (OPR) and basis of design (BOD). B. Review final design documents and ensure compliance with established LEED Commissioning Requirements and prepare a commissioning plan. C. Provide commissioning services during construction to ensure compliance with established LEED Commissioning Requirements. D. Prepare necessary commissioning documentation for Sarasota County to file for LEED Certifications with the USGBC or comparable green building certification organization. E. Perform design reviews for OPR and BOD, shop drawing reviews and warranty phase tasks as outlined by USGBC as enhanced commissioning. F. Assist with Return on Investment (ROI) analysis, as requested by the County.
