Barbara Drive Drainage Phase 2

Remove existing outfall at McCullough and install new larger outfall. The existing storm sewer along Barbara Dr. from McCullough to approximately 200 feet south of Oblate will be removed and replaced with new larger storm sewer. New inlets along Barbara Dr. will be installed as well. The street will be entirely reconstructed along with sidewalks and driveways as needed. Also, an alternate, Additive Alternate 1, adds to the scope by including a new storm sewer extending from Barbara Drive up Mountain Top to approximately Melba along with new inlets that will capture street flow before reaching Barbara Drive. Two other alternates are also proposed. Alternate 2, will include that same scope as Base Bid with the exception that the TCP for Phases 1 through 3 will be handled differently. The Base bid will allow for a closure of McCullough up to 90-days. Alternate 2 will require TCP that will provide for McCullough to be open throughout the construction with an additional 20 days of added Contract time. Alternate 3, is the same scope as the Base Bid with the exception that the Contractor will be permitted to provide precast box culvert pieces in-lieu of castin-place box culverts for the entire length of the project up to the transition to the storm sewer to remain..Joint bid: water, sewer, and gas lines will be replaced on the base bid. CPS gas line work only on the additive alternate.
