Description | All work described under the terms of this contract shall be completed within 65 working days following the date of commencement. This work shall include, but is not limited to: Clean, prepare, prime and paint signal poles, mast arms, and pedestrian poles within multiple intersections of the Issaquah Highlands community. This work also includes all traffic control personnel and devices, as well as all stormwater BMP's and other regulatory items relating to the type of work. We reserve the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and to reject any or all bids and to award this Contract to a single bidder based on the lowest responsible bid for aggregate total of both schedules. Proposals shall be on forms included in the contract documents and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety), made payable to the City of Issaquah, in an amount not less than 5% of the amount of the bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the time announced for the opening, or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty-five (65) days. The City of Issaquah, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. |
