Water System Facility Plan Implementation and East Main Street Concrete Improvements - Phase 2, Project 2C

The work in general consists of the following: 1. Approximately 3,845 feet of new water main construction, existing main abandonment, and service transfers on E. Main Street, N. Maryland Street, Bellevue Street, East Washington Street, and North Neal Street. East Main Street: Construction of approximately 1,580 feet of 8-inch water main along East Main Street from Georgia Street to Neal Street, including abandonment of the existing main and service transfers. North Maryland Street: Construction of approximately 380 feet of 8-inch water main along North Maryland Street from East Main Street to East Washington Street, including abandonment of existing main and service transfers. South and North Bellevue Street, East Washington Street, and North Neal Street: Construction of approximately 1,490 feet of 8-inch water main along North and South Bellevue from East Adams Street to East Washington Street, then along East Washington Street to Woodland Drive, then along North Neal Street to Morton Street, including abandonment of existing main and service transfers. 2. Old Cape Road Creek Crossing repairs consisting of bank and stream stabilization, concrete encasement of approximately 22 feet of existing 8-inch sewer pipe, and replacement of approximately 41 feet of existing 6-inch water main with new ductile iron pipe water main. 3. Approximately 300 feet of concrete street replacement, new stormwater structures, removal of existing railroad tracks and other miscellaneous improvements located near the intersection of East Main Street and Maryland Street.
