Description | The work includes: 1. Phase I: a. Pre-construction erosion and sedimentation controls and site demolition activities. b. The construction of a new children's playground with poured in place, rubberized surface, using owner-provided play structures. Contractor is to install play systems. c. The construction of an adult fitness center with rubberized surface using owner supplied new fitness equipment. Contractor is to install fitness systems. d. The reconstruction of the existing little league ball filed, to add excavated top soils and new infield materials and built a new 50/70 little league field, new 6'tall chain link dugouts, including the provision of modifying the existing backstop in place, new player's benches and surfaces. e. The construction of new pickle ball court and tennis court with an asphalt base and specialized surfaces, netting and appurtenances f. Fencing for the above b to e, as depicted on the plans. g. New concrete pads for portable toilets and bleachers. h. Construction of sub-surface drainage under above modifications as noted and depicted on Phase 1 of the drawings. i. Construction of accessible walks and parking areas as noted and depicted on the Phase 1 of the drawings. j. Extension of stone dust path to nature trail (not to be asphalt per Bid Alt No. 2) k. Bid Alt No. 2: Modify stone dust walks to asphalt. l. Bid Alt No. 3: Construction of the basketball court. 2. Phase II: a. Pre-construction erosion and sedimentation controls and site demolition activities. b. Construction of accessible walks and parking areas as noted and depicted on the Phase 1 of the drawings. c. Bid Alt. No. 1: Installation of below grade interceptor and surface water collection systems in relocated soccer fields d. Bid Alt No. 2: Modify stone dust walks to asphalt. e. Re-establishment of existing sign. f. New paved accessible parking area and related signage g. Connection to nature trail with stone dust path (not to be asphalt per Bid Alt No. 2). Murray, RLA, no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. The estimated contract value is $ 1,000,000 +/-. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified, treasurer's or cashier's check or bid bond in the sum of five (5) percent of the Bid Price. No bidder may withdraw his/her Bid for a period of 60 days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays) after the actual date of the opening of the Bids. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of the bid. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and waive any minor or non-material informalities, if deemed to be in its best interests. The Work will be substantially completed on or before December 31, 2022 |
