Description | Laboratory Report: RES 522863-1 Project #/P.O. #: PCH-41122 Provo City owns approximately 3.65 acres of real property at 351 West Center Street located in central Provo. The site is currently unoccupied but was used as City offices and until the recent completion of a new city hall to the west of the site. Residents of Provo voted for a bond measure that has provided the funding necessary to construct the new city hall and public safety facilities. Currently Provo City's Fire Station 1 is located on the redevelopment property, and the City intends to replace the fire station in its current location. Scott Bainbridge #ASB-6822 Elise Bainbridge #ASB-7303 Eldon C. Romney, LEHS #ASB-1362 Air Quality Consulting, LLC #603 The property has not been occupied for several months. Utilities are still available to the building and the City's Fire Station 1 is still active. The subject area sits on the property known as Utah County Tax ID Number: 04-085-0001 (See Attached Map). Provo City, with this RFP, sets forth its intent to enter into a contract for the abatement of the asbestos and removal of any hazardous material from the building and the demolition of the former City Hall building. The Asbestos Survey and Inspection completed by Air Quality Consulting which identifies the asbestos in the building and the hazardous materials that will need to be removed is included as a .pdf attached to this bid package. It is the intention of Provo City to time the asbestos removal in a way that the demolition can move forward immediately after the abatement is completed. Bid price will be the lump sum for the entire project including a price on an hourly basis for any work that needs to be performed over and above the proposed project and is pre-approved in the change order process with owner Question Submission Close Date 12/19/2022 5:00 PM MST |
