It is the goal of MDOT SHA that Minority Business Enterprises participate in all State contracts, as applicable. Each contract will contain a specific participation goal. Number: AC-HSIPG-STBGG-NHPPG-000B(665)E Mod/install/recon of Traffic Signals - Statewide This project involves individual work assignments for the installation, modification and/or reconstruction of new or existing traffic signals on interstate, state and local roads statewide. Assignments may include the installation of signal structures, controller cabinets, UPS, LED signals indications, Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS), Countdown Pedestrian Signals (CPS), ADA ramp and sidewalk upgrades, intersection lighting, signs, cameras and/or loops for detection, minor geometrics, pavement markings and miscellaneous traffic control devices statewide. A Pre-Bid Conference has not been scheduled for this Project Minimum wage rates, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon latest the blank electronic proposal form (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least 5 percent (5%) of the total amount bid, unless otherwise stated in the IFB. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00, unless otherwise stated in the IFB. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
