North Bergen High School Emergency Generator

The scope of the Project includes installation of a diesel-fuel emergency generator and all related panels, switches and controls; a new concrete pad, retaining walls, walkways, paving, and fencing; below grade conduits and foundations; landscaping and related Improvements at the High School facility. At the exterior (rear) of the school in a sloped bank, a new pad-mounted generator will be provided and installed, connected through an exterior wall mounted ATS to switchgear located in the basement of the existing four-story building- which will service all circuits described in the Contract Documents for Emergency Shelter. Work includes: Utility mark outs and probes/scans to establish locations of all existing utilities, services and rock below grade; excavation; a new diesel generator on slab with retaining walls, concrete stairs and walkways, fencing and related site work; curbs, expanded asphalt pavement and striping. Below grade conduit, shall be supported as required and placed in coordination with foundations, electrical and control wiring; new panels, switches, and controls; new penetrations with sealants through existing building walls; expanded asphalt paving; concrete walls and foundations, walkways, fencing, gates, site work, and all other work complete, described in the Contract Documents.
