Cityview 2nd Addition - Phase 1

As of February 6, 2023, construction commenced shortly after being awarded and is expceted to be completed in 2023, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The principal items for which proposals are invited are: 2,600 LF Sanitary Sewer Main and Laterals, 6-Inch to 8-Inch PVC 650 LF Sanitary Sewer Forcemain, 4-Inch PVC 1 LS Sanitary Sewer Lift Station 2,300 LF Water Main, 8-Inch PVC 950 LF Water Service Pipe, 1-1/4-Inch Copper 2,800 LF Storm Sewer Main, 12-Inch to 20-Inch 1 LS Storm Pond 3,000 LF Concrete Curb and Gutter, 30-Inch 12,000 SF Concrete Sidewalk, Carriage 4-Inch to 6-Inch 5,700 TN Aggregate Base Dense, 3-Inch to 3/4-Inch 1,500 TN Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement, 4-Inch 7,000 SY Landscape Restoration. Bids shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Horicon in an amount equal to 5% of the Bid, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, the Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and the Insurance Certificate(s), as required by the Contract Documents, within 15 days after the Notice of Award of the Contract by the City of Horicon Failure on the part of the Bidder to do so will result in forfeiture of the Bidder's Certified Check or Bid Bond to the City of Horicon as liquidated damages. The City of Horicon reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled time for opening bids. Letting of the contract is subject to Sections 61.54 and 62.15 of the Wisconsin Statutes as applicable. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
