Description

Border to Border Trail Construction - Chelsea, which is located in and northwest of the City of Chelsea, MI, between Sibley and Werkner roads. The project is to construct a 10’ wide HMA trail approximately 1.63 miles in length divided into two construction phases. Phase 1 (5,000 LF) is the southern portion of the project shall be substantially complete by November 15, 2021. Phase 2 (3,600LF) is the northern part of the project and shall be substantially complete by October 15, 2022. Work includes site preparation, excavation, grading, placement of HMA, aggregate base, modular block retaining wall, culvert installation, concrete flatwork, sign installation, pavement marking, site restoration, tree planting, and related work.
