Description | The project consists of a new addition to the existing Craven County Human Services Complex. The new construction will be a 18,750 square foot, 2 story addition to the Northwest side of the facility. The new building will be steel frame with exterior and interior metal stud framing, brick veneer, and a cementitious panel system. The interior will be open work areas with some interior offices and toilets. The project will also, include the associated Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical systems required for the new addition. The Civil scope of work will include the new building pad and modifications to the existing parking areas and site utilities. A. General: Craven County solicits your interest in providing Qualifications for Pre-Construction Services and Construction services of the project including all site work, infrastructure and building for Craven County Human Services Complex New Addition in New Bern,NC, located at 2818 Neuse Blvd. B. Required Knowledge: Firms responding to the RFQ are expected to possess an in-depth understanding of the issues involved in construction, site development and other related and associated special construction. Firms must be capable of advising on all aspects of the development as it relates to the design and construction of the facility and interaction with the associated statutory authorities. Firms must be able to respond to the issues from the Owner and design team as it affects the project and advise where required. In addition, firms must be able to demonstrate successful experience with the full range of issues involved in the construction of a project of this type and/or complexity.
