| Description | he bid is for the sale to the County and the separate road districts for a three (3) month term for cold bituminous plant mix asphalt. The County will consider a fuel adjustment index clause. Cold Mix shall at a minimum meet the following criteria 1. Total A.C. content - 5% minimum 2. Blended Aggregate (maximum percent passing) 3/8 sieve - 100% 3. Blended Aggregate (maximum percent passing) #4 sieve - 60% 4. Blended Aggregate (maximum percent passing) #8 sieve - 15% 5. Blended Aggregate (maximum percent passing) #200 sieve - 3% Specifications, where applicable, shall be equal or better than state bid specifications. The lowest and best bid received will be accepted, subject to the provisions of Section 31-7-13 Mississippi Code of 1972, amended, and the Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities. |
