Rehabilitation and Repainting of 3 ea Potable Water Storage Tanks

The scope of this section defines the work and materials included in each bid item in the specifications for the rehabilitation and repainting of two Potable Water Storage Tanks for the City of Eustis (hereinafter "CITY"). All tanks are within the city limits of Eustis, Florida. Payment will be made based on the specified items included in the description in this section for each bid item. B. Tank Descriptions: 1. Haselton Street Reservoir: This tank is a 100,000-gallon flat bottom, cone roof, welded steel tank. Diameter is 32’-0” and height is 17’-8”. No nameplate is on this tank. City records indicate this tank was installed around 1953. Interior and exterior coating, and some metal repair and replacement occurred in 2003. 2. Haselton Street Crom Ground Storage Tank This tank is a 250,000-gallon Crom ground storage tank. The following information was observed: Manufacturer: Crom Corporation Year Built: 1990 Diameter: 50 Feet Overall Height: 17’ 8” Manway (roof): 4’ x 4’ 3. Haselton Street Elevated Tank This tank is a 100,000 gallon Elipsoidal steel tank. Built in 1953. 90’ to the top. Painted/sandblasted interior and painted exterior in 2007. C. The overall project consists of providing all labor, materials, supervision, power, equipment and supplies for repairing, renovating, and recoating of the above referenced water storage tanks.
