As of April 6, 2023, project was awarded to Swank Construction Company, LLC, awarded amount is $709,101.30. MP G06.82 GB-117 This project provides for the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment and work necessary to perform the backwall repairs between Mileposts G-06.46 and G-06.96. Also included is the replacement of the approach slab, asphalt resurfacing, placement of erosion and sediment pollution controls, maintenance and protection of traffic during construction and pavement markings. NETWORK NUMBER: 7010840 STRUCTURE NUMBER: GB-117 51 TON Asphalt Materials (Base, Binder, Wearing & Leveling Courses) 181 SY Bridge Approach Slab 446 SY Milling of Asphalt Pavement Surface, Variable Depth 67 LF Neoprene Strip Seal Dam, (4" Movement) 13 CY Class AA Cement Concrete, Except Use No. 8 Coarse Aggregate 565 LF Temporary Concrete Barrier 565 LF Reset Temporary Concrete Barrier Milepost G-06.46 is located approximately 0.5 miles north of the US 30 Greensburg/Irwin Interchange, Exit 6, and Milepost G-06.96 is located approximately 1.0 miles south of the PA130 Jeannette/Greensburg Interchange, Exit 8, in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. An electronic bid bond, from an approved vendor, with corporate surety, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. The bid security of the three (3) low bidders will be retained until the execution of the contract. (The normal time for execution of the contract is approximately four [4] weeks.) A Prequalification Certification and Applicable Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is a necessary prerequisite for bidding on this project. The opening and listing of bids not meeting all the terms and conditions of the bid advertisement or bid procedures does not act as a waiver or modification of any requirements contained in the bid advertisement or bid procedure. The Provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended, together with the rates and regulations promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry applicable thereto, shall apply to this contract.
