Armstrong Elementary School - Roof Replacement

The School District of Greenville County (SDGC) invites responsible prequalified contractors to submit a SEALED BID to provide a Roof Replacement Project at Armstrong Elementary School, located at 8601 White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29617. This solicitation does not commit the District to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of the response to this solicitation or to procure any goods or services. Approximately 86,650 Square Feet of existing low-sloped roof system at Armstrong Elementary School will receive a Re-cover Roof System. In the drawings, these Roof Areas are labeled C,D,E,F,G,H,I,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T and U. Existing aggregate surfacing is be removed. All existing bituminous and metal flashing; metal coping caps; gutters; downs spouts; scupper liners, and concrete at new overflow scupper locations are also to be removed. Install new cover board, PVC roof membrane, scupper liners metal and flashing. On Roof Areas G, K, D and P, which is approximately 6,000 Square Feet. Will generally consists of the removal of all existing aggregate surfacing, built-up roof membrane, perlite and wet insulation where indicated on the roof plan. Install new insulation and cover board to match the existing BUR membrane height, and the installation of a new PVC membrane and flashing. Any metal flashing, coping, downspouts and scuppers in these areas will also be replaced and new installed. The work is to be performed from June 5- October 3, 2023; which is One Hundred and Twenty (120) calendar Days. Questions and comments received after the Inquiry Deadline will not be addressed. NOTE: No other District personnel or representative of the District shall be contacted regarding this solicitation or the evaluation process. Vendors that attempt to contact other District personnel or representatives or obtain information in any way other than the authorized method, which is in writing to the Procurement Officer, shall have that firm's bid rejected. After the Inquiry Deadline, the District will issue an addendum to address any questions or changes. The District will not respond to late inquiries. All equipment, supplies and services shall be provided in accordance with all terms, conditions and specifications contained or referenced in this solicitation.
