The City of Sacramento is seeking prospective business owner's interest in and to solicit ideas on operating a new kayaking, paddle boarding and refreshment concession building located at Sutter's Landing Regional Park. The City received a grant from the American River Parkway Conservancy through the California Natural Resources Agency to provide more riverfront access for the recreational enjoyment of Sacramento residents. The grant will fund the construction of a concession stand for kayaking, paddle boarding and for snacks and refreshments at Sutter's Landing Regional Park. This is a multifaceted grant that also includes other park improvements and a park amenities site plan update. The grant is for $2.8 million, and the building and site improvements must be delivered by June 2025.
