Description

The Project generally includes replacement ofthe existing Pump Station #1. The Work includes temporary provisions to maintain operation of the existing pump station, demolition and removal of two 26,000 gallon existing buried steel storage tanks, site work, new 24 foot x 36 foot pump station including building, mechanical, electrical, control, and SCADA work, and final demolition ofthe existing pump station upon activation of new pump station. Completion time for the project will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the "Notice to Proceed" as: 210 calendar days for Substantial Completion 240 calendar days for Final Completion Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $ 250 for each calendar day of delay for the date established for Substantial Completion and $ 250 for each calendar day of delay for the date ofFinal Completion. Each General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5% ofthe Total Bid Price. The successful Bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds, and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification ofthe acceptance ofhis Bid. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by: a loan from the NH Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF).
