Removal of existing photovoltaic array on sloped and flat portions of the existing roof. The bid will need to address three options: Option 1 - On the front portion of the roof - remove all solar panels, associated mounting brackets and equipment. Shingle over this area of roof by installing new 2nd layer of shingles. On the flat portion of the roof - remove all solar panels and equipment while leaving the mounting brackets in tact as to not disrupt the current roofing membrane thus voiding the warranty. Option 2 - On the front portion of the roof - demolish existing shingles and underlayment down to roof deck on the front roof only. Replace all shingles On the flat portion of the roof - remove all solar panels and equipment while leaving the mounting brackets in tact as to not disrupt the current roofing membrane thus voiding the warranty. Option 3 - On the front portion of the roof - Remove all solar panels, associated mounting brackets and equipment. Demolish existing shingles and underlayment down to roof deck over entire area of sloped roof, front and both sides. On the flat portion of the roof - remove all solar panels and equipment while leaving the mounting brackets in tact as to not disrupt the current roofing membrane thus voiding the warranty.
