Description SDL (Space Dynamics Laboratory), at the USU Innovation Campus located in North Logan Utah, needs a new 40,000 s.f., partial 2-story building. The design of this Building will be for a machine shop, electronics assembly (SMT) lab, material stockroom, shipping/receiving, and auxiliary support services. The A/E design contract will include complete design services including, programming, and cost models, civil/landscape design, as well as all necessary engineering. The project is intended to be CMGC delivered. The schedule must address the design period phases, review periods, and any proposed bid package dates in detail. The project on the Innovation Campus, in Logan will be co-managed by SDL Facilities and USU Facilities Planning, Design, and Construction services department. Jeff Ware (SDL) and Joe Beck (USU) will be the project managers. This project will achieve LEED silver minimum certification, and meet the State of Utah energy performance requirements, in compliance with standard USU Innovation Campus Design Requirements.
