Vegetated Stormwater BMP Maintenance

Responsible for the Stormwater Best Management Practice (BMP) Inspection and Maintenance Program funded by the County's Water Quality Protection Charge (WQPC). The Program is charged with inspecting, and ensuring maintenance and repair of, all stormwater management (SWM) BMPs in the County, except for SWM BMPs in Rockville, Gaithersburg, and Takoma Park. The County intends to enter a Contract with a Contractor for provision of vegetated ESD BMP maintenance techniques, native plant identification, and weed/invasive plant identification and removal. The work must be performed by skilled, trained foremen and laborers who must perform regular maintenance on multiple vegetated ESD BMPs throughout Montgomery County.
