Description | The Project contemplated consists of vegetative clearing of up to 800 acres of land area to be inundated by Lake Ralph Hall in Project Areas east of State Highway 34. The Work will be completed in all respects within 210 calendar days from the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and insurance prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such licenses as required by Texas State Statutes, and federal and local Laws and Regulations. The Project is funded in part by the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) and will follow the guidance of TWDB including, but not limited to, the use of the following forms (see attached): 1. TWDB-0459 (Rev. 01/17) Vendor Compliance with Reciprocity or Non-Resident Bidders 2. TWDB-0552 (Rev. 11/18) Supplemental Contract Conditions and Instructions for Construction Services for Projects Funded Through State Programs 3. WRD-255 (Rev. 01/17) Bidder's Certifications 4. WRD-277 (Rev. 04/17) Cost and Pricing Information - State Projects The Project is funded by Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) and will follow the guidance of TWDB including the use of the following forms (see attached): 1. ED-101 (Rev 09/16) Site Certificate 2. ED-103 (Rev. 09/26/2016) Contractor's Act of Assurance 3. ED-104 (Rev. 10/06/2016) Contractor's Resolution of Authorized Representative Nonresident Bidders shall conform to Government Code 2155.004 prior to submitting Bid. Bidder shall use prevailing wage rates as contained in Bidding document. Bidder shall be in compliance with Texas Family Code 231.006 to receive payments on a Contract from state funds. Bidder shall certify that neither Bidder, nor person represented by Bidder, nor any person acting for the represented person has: Violated the antitrust laws codified by Chapter 15, Business and Commerce Code, or the federal antitrust laws; or Directly or indirectly communicated the Bid to a competitor or other person engaged in the same line of business. Attendance at a prebid conference will be optional for submitting a Bid for this Project. Refer to Instructions to Bidders for additional information. Owner's right is reserved to reject all Bids or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents. |
