Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility. The purpose of this solicitation is to competitively obtain bids to acquire supplies, services or equipment which complies with the enclosed description and/or specifications and conditions for Richland School District Two for the following project: Removal of Existing and Installation of New HVAC Units at Spring Valley High School, 22-027. Question Submission Deadline:May 9, 2022, 12:00pm Richland School District Two will accept bids to remove existing and install new HVAC units at Spring Valley High School located at 120 Sparkleberry Lane, Columbia, SC 29223. This solicitation consists of three (3) units to be removed and replaced at this location. A Bid Bond is a requirement of the bid submittals. The Bid security shall be 5% of the total bid price provided. The school district reserves the right to waive any instruction, condition, or minor specification when considered to be in the best interest of the school district. 1. Removal of three (3) existing 15 ton roof top units (RTUs) 2. Existing Unit Type: Carrier RTU Heat Pump (Media Center) o Unit Voltage: 460V 3 phase o Unit Model: 50HJQ-016-621CD o Unit Serial: 1608U10206 3. Existing Unit Type: Carrier RTU Heat Pump (Media Center) o Unit Voltage: 460V 3 phase o Unit Model: 50HJQ-016-621CD o Unit Serial: 1608U10207 4. Existing Unit Type: Carrier RTU Heat Pump (Band Room) o Unit Voltage: 460V 3 phase o Unit Model: 50TJ-016-680YA o Unit Serial: 1001F67792 Installation: Provide, install, and connect new units: o Replace three (3) 15 ton roof top (RTUs) Heat Pump Units o Contractor shall coordinate with Johnson Control Inc. to disconnect and reconnect building automation systems. o Units must have dehumidification with reheat. Units must have an economizer package. o Units must have 36 kw electric heat strips. o Units must have phase monitor protection. o Unit must have filter racks installed in the units. o Contractor shall guarantee that the newly installed equipment is functioning as defined by the manufacturer. o Contractor must also provide a one (1) year labor warranty. Project must be completed within 15 days of contractor's receipt of the replacement unit(s).
