Sliding Security Gate and Controls Replacement, East and West Administration Buildings Chippewa Correctional Facility

East Administration Building – Removal and replacement of four (4) existing automatic aluminum sliding security gates and related sidelight frames; removal and replacement of existing aluminum entrance doors and frame; removal and replacement of existing hollow metal entrance doors and frames. Security gate replacement work includes new hollow metal detention grade doors and frames; power operated sliding door hardware; security glazing; removal/replacement and refinishing of existing finishes; minor modifications to hardware on several existing security doors; and new replacement of the existing security gate control system and control stations, including new panel displays, relays, switches, wiring and conduit, demo existing inverter and battery back-up power supply; and new access control system. West Administration Building – Removal and replacement of three (3) existing automatic hollow metal sliding security gates and related sidelight frames; removal and replacement of several existing hollow metal entrance doors and frames. Security gate replacement work includes new hollow metal detention grade doors and frames; power operated sliding door hardware; security glazing; removal/replacement and refinishing of existing finishes; minor modifications to hardware on several existing security doors; and new replacement of the existing security gate control system and control stations, including new panel displays, relays, switches, wiring and conduit; and new access control system.
