Infantry Substation Sanitary Sewer Relocation

You are invited to bid on a contract for the Infantry Substation Sanitary Sewer Relocation Project (Southeast of the intersection of North National Avenue and Maple Ridge Park road), in Fort Scott, Kansas. This project shall consist of the relocation of an 18" and an 8" sanitary sewer main to allow construction of an electric substation, and all other work and appurtenances necessary to complete the project. A Soil Management Plan shall be followed as part of this work per the below assessments: A Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment was prepared by ppB enviro-solutions (PPB) on behalf of Evergy for this property which identified soil and groundwater contamination above regulatory screening levels in certain areas of the property (PPB 2022, PPB 2023a). Any work which involves the disturbance of subsurface soils must be performed in accordance with the Soil Management Plan, prepared by ppB envirosolutions, dated May 31, 2023 (PPB 2023b).
