Removal of Exotic Nuisance Plants

The contractor will provide the City with a program of exotic plant control at the City’s Hammock Park and Scotsdale Park. The work consists of the removal of exotic and/or nuisance plant species as determined by the most current Florida Exotic Pest Plant Council (FLEPPC) list. Plant species not found on the current FLEPPC list that are also non-native to Florida must also be removed. The Contractor shall pay extreme focus to and utilization of the Pinellas County Integrated Vegetation Management (IVM) Manual (Exhibit IX). Various control methods such as: mechanical, physical, biological, cultural, and chemical shall utilized as outlined within the Pinellas County (IVM) Manual.
