Ron Mafrige Field House Renovation

Scope of Work, Package Four, shall include, but not be limited to: CFMF, Architectural Woodwork and Mill Work, Metal Panels, Aluminum Framed Entrances and Storefronts, Curtain Walls, Drywall and Ceilings, Tiling and Flooring, Custom Athletic Lockers Scope of Work, Package Three, shall include, but not be limited to: Structure (Concrete, Steel, Etc.) Waterproofing, Roofing, Masonry, Doors/Frames & Hardware. Scope of Work, Package Two, shall include, but not be limited to: Selective Demolition. Scope of Work, Package One, shall include, but not be limited to: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Suppression, Hydrotherapy Pools, Elevators. The Ron Mafrige Field House is a three-story, cast-in-place reinforced concrete structure of approximately 27,000 square feet with an observation deck of approximately 2,700 square feet. The building is located on Bowers Boulevard, at the south end of Bowers Stadium. Project scope includes demolition and renovation of all levels, including mechanical systems. Due to early turnover of the athletic locker rooms, an early-release package will be issued for procurement of long-lead time materials and equipment. Remaining work will continue after locker rooms are completed with provisions for segregation of ongoing construction from Sam Houston State University Athletics operations.
