IL-57 from Kankakee County Line to Steger Rd (Rest Area and Weigh Station), Phase III Project

Phase Iii Engineering Is Required To Provide Construction Inspection Services For The Above Subject Improvement. Work Includes, But Is Not Limited To, Standard Overlay, Resurfacing (Int 3rd), Rest Area Improvements, Weigh Station Repairs, And Bridge Deck Sealing. The Work At The Prairie View Rest Areas Includes Resurfacing Of The Parking Lots, Upgrading The Ada Ramps And Other Miscellaneous Repairs. The Repairs To The Peotone Weigh Stations Include Class a And Class b Patching Of The Bare Concrete Pavement Ramps. The Work At The Structures Carrying i-57 Over Abandoned Railroad, s.n.’ s 099-0038 & 0039 (12.8 Miles South Of Us 30) Includes Sealing The Bridge Decks. The Its Scope Includes Upgrades To The i-57 Mainline Weigh-In-Motion Sensors In a 300 Ft Class a Patch And Installation Of Bluetooth Detectors. Also Included Is Pavement Patching, Temporary Pavement, Pavement Marking And All Incidental And Collateral Work Necessary To Complete The Project As Shown In The Plans And As Described Herein. Traffic Will Be Maintained On i-57 Using Staging.
