Description

The bridge deck on the westbound W-S Ramp Over I-82 is showing signs of deterioration due to normal wear. Repair and resurface the existing bridge deck to maintain structural integrity, continue safe operation of the highway, and extend the life of the bridge. As of November 28, 2022, this project is in Final Planning status. Preliminary engineering has begun and environmental design is expected to be complete in the Fourth quarter of 2022. The contract advertisement is expected in First 2023 of 2024 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the Fourth quarter of 2023. WSDOT - I-82/W-S Ramp Over I-82 - Deck Rehabilitation *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
