Palm Lane Road Extension - 116th Avenue To 118th Avenue - T0092 - City Of Avondale

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Avondale, Arizona. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway. This project includes design and construction of half-street improvements on the southern portion of Palm Lane between 116th and 118th Avenue. Palm Lane is classified as a local road which requires 50-feet of right-of-way (ROW) and includes 2-travel lanes, bike lanes, and sidewalks. Specific half-street improvements include curb gutter, sidewalk, pavement, drainage, and streetlight improvements. It is assumed that the existing basin on the School property can be utilized for the new roadway drainage. The project estimate assumes that ROW will be dedicated by the school along Palm Lane at no cost to the City. Landscaping is not included as part of this project. As of July 06, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2023. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
