Citywide Generator Maintenance and Repair

Category Code: 690-43 936-25 936-39 941-21 The City of Leander, herein after "City", seeks an agreement with a qualified Individual, Firm, or Corporation, herein "Respondent", to provide all services, equipment, labor and materials necessary to provide annual maintenance (AM) services, quarterly preventative maintenance (PM) services and repairs for the generators located throughout City owned facilities. The City does not guarantee a minimum value of this contract but will order services on an as needed basis. This contract does not include generator installations in new construction therefore additional units may be added throughout the duration of the resulting agreement. This bid will require (1) a lump sum bid per location for annual preventative maintenance services and (2) a bid for time and material for repairs and emergency services performed outside of the maintenance agreement. All generators are located within the City Limits. BACKGROUND: The City of Leander currently maintains numerous buildings with over 27 generators of varying ages. Buildings are located within the city limits. A comprehensive inventory of all generators units has been conducted to compile this solicitation document. Despite the effort by inhouse staff to document the inventory it is possible that additional units will be located as the successful respondent begins service. If discovered, these units will be added to the contract in the form of a change order and price amendment.
