Description

The work includes the construction of: Approximately 8,200 feet of multi-use trail construction and reinstallation of six (6) existing pedestrian bridges including: clearing & grubbing, unclassified excavation, riprap and geotextile, base aggregate dense, asphaltic concrete pavement surface, safety railing, concrete pavement, culvert pipe, signs & pavement marking, erosion and sedimentation controls, and site and turf restoration. No Bid will be received unless accompanied by a surety in a form acceptable to the City equal to at least 5% of the maximum Bid, payable to the OWNER. The City of Middleton reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids (consisting of up to: 60 days for issuance of Notice of Award; 15 days for Contractor to return signed agreements, bonds and insurance; and 10 days for City execution of agreement).
