Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project. As of May 12, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project consists of the rehabilitation of existing main line sanitary sewers via mainline cleaning and CCTV inspections, excavated point repairs, full length main line replacements, house connection service lateral replacements, full-length Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining, service lateral Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining and manhole rehabilitation. The project is generally located in the Mid-City Neighborhoods within Orleans Parish. The project work area is generally bounded by the Pontchartrain Expressway to the west, City Park Ave to the north, N. Broad to the east, and Perdido St to the south. The Work will be completed in all respects within 240 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Except for material suppliers, Bid Documents will be issued only to Contractors and/or Sub-contractors who are licensed by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors, under Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2150 through 37:2163 as amended, and who have furnished satisfactory evidence to the Purchasing Agent of the Board that they are licensed and are qualified to perform the work called for in the Contract Documents. Bids will be accepted from only those Contractors who possess a Louisiana Contractors Municipal and Public Works License, in accordance with the above referenced Louisiana Statutes. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. Envelopes containing bids and bid guarantee must be sealed, marked with the project name and with the Contractors name as it appears on the license and the Louisiana Contractors License number. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids or proposals for just cause and to waive informalities. The Owner also reserves the right to reject all proposals in the event that a formal agreement regarding funding from FEMA is not received prior to award of this Contract. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and insurance prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to perform public work, Bidder and Subcontractors shall hold all necessary licenses as required by the above referenced Louisiana Statutes. This Project is classified as municipal and public works construction. Owners right is reserved to reject all Bids or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents.
