Description

The proposed Horseshoe Road project is located in Murphey Candler Park, on North Nancy Creek Road NE, in Brookhaven, GA, and includes, but is not limited to, the following: Picking up the LDP20- 00017 from city and coordinate a pre-con meeting with City staff. Picking up any other applicable permits from the City as part of mobilization. Complete a construction stakeout and field adjustment with Owner and Landscape Architect. Field adjustments to locate silt fence, silt sock and low wooden retaining walls as needed. Install and maintain erosion control measures. Protect trees, brush and undergrowth along road edges and limits of disturbance. Coordination with the city contracted Tree Care Company to provide prescriptive care for identified trees. Tree pruning allowance for the remaining trees when identified. Grading in the proposed project area and bringing in structural fill as needed. Adjustment of existing storm drainage structures and pipes as identified. Construction of low wooden retaining walls if needed. Removal of CMP and installation of an 88’ long RCP storm pipe. Full Depth Reclamation ( FDR ) of existing deteriorated asphalt pavement. Fill and gravel materials for construction of parking spaces and filling swale. Concrete sidewalk and curbs for parking area. Concrete aprons at the two entrances. Traffic control within the park during construction process. Collaboration with Community Green contractor working within the Horseshoe Road area. Collaboration on the ADA sidewalk between the ADA parking space and the Community Green. Final site cleanup
