RFP D/B - The Nature Center Interior Exhibits Project

A timelie for award has not yet been established.** The contract shall be awarded at a Board Meeting of the Park Board of Commissioners on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. The scope of work involves furnishing all of the required labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for final design, manufacture and installation of new interior exhibits for The Crystal Lake Park District Nature Center in accordance with the RFP, CLPD Floor Plan-Themes-Storylines and any authorized change orders which have been signed by both parties. All proposals must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bank Draft for 10% (ten percent) of the total proposal made payable to the Crystal Lake Park District. Each proposer shall also include three (3) references of clients for which similar work was performed, listing the name, address and telephone number of the client, a description of the work, and the construction cost. All contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq.) and the Illinois Works Jobs Program Act (30 ILCS 559/) regarding the Illinois Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program. The Crystal Lake Park District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities.

Division 11 -	Equipment, Play Field Equipment and Structures, Playground Equipment, Play Structures.
Division 31 -	Earthwork, Selective Clearing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Athletic and Recreational Surfacing, Site Improvements, Fences and Gates, Planting.
Division 33 -	Utilities.
