Description | Demolition of Structures - It is the intent of these specifications to describe demolition and removal ofthe structures, two (2) trees at the back of the garage and site clean-up ofthe county-owned property located at 414 East Augusta Street, St. Joseph, MO. Site map attached. Demolition and removal of all structures shall include: Removal ofidentified structure(s): house, garage, wooden fence, chain link fence, fire pit, and two trees at the back ofthe garage (including entire root ball) and all contents in their entirety All concrete floor slabs, foundations, pits, pilings, porches, steps and all other above ground and underground improvements associated with the structure(s) shall be removed from site; no debris of any kind shall be buried on site Any all-weather, impervious surfaces including asphalt, concrete or gravel shall be removed from the site Cap all building sewer connections at street connection Any/all septic tanks shall be pumped, and the contents disposed ofin accordance with appropriate ordinances and regulations; tank shall be filled, and the top of the tank crushed. Contractor is required to contact all utilities to ensure that they are discomiected prior to starting the demolition; also, the contractor must contact Dig-Rite or other entities responsible for marking of all utility services Required demolition permit shall be obtained from the City of St. Joseph; this permit should be issued at no charge It is anticipated that work may start after May 10, 2023 and must be completed within 30 calendar days; County will let successful vendor know when project can begin Question Deadline 04/20/2023 Information / Clarification shall be submitted in writing by Email. If any Bidder is in doubt regarding any part ofthe Bid Documents, or finds discrepancies in or omission from any part ofthe Bid Documents, he may submit to the Presiding Commissioner a request for an interpretation or correction thereof not later than five (5) working days before the bids are scheduled to be opened. |
