House of Hope Asphalt Paving

Invitation to Bid on Asphalt Paving project for (HOHCDC). HOHCDC is seeking bids from contractors experienced in replacement of asphalt paving for a project at 3192 Post Road Warwick RI 02886. Overall Goals and Scope of Work of the project: Remove and replace an asphalt section of driveway between buildings at the site to minimize trip and fall hazards for pedestrians, reduce and smooth grade transitions while keeping run-off on-site. Work will include, but not necessarily be limited to the following: -saw-cutting -remove existing asphalt base -install needed fine-grade gravel -install binder layer -install top asphalt -roll and compact -crack-filling and seal coating Contractors will need to visit site, confirm measurements, and submit a detailed plan drawing showing how they will meet project goals and scope of work. To qualify for work on this project, a contractor must have demonstrated experience in multiple successful installations of replacing/repairing asphalt and will provide prior project contacts/information to the owner, when requested HOHCDC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom in their consideration offered the lowest and best proposal. Bidders must be properly certified under the laws governing their respective trades and be properly insured.
