Description | Freshman Academy Mechanical Project. Estimated Cost $135,000 Freshman Academy Mechanical Project, GC has DCAMM in plumbing Freshman Academy Mechanical Project Work Scope Steam Plant Cut/Cap/Isolate and remove steam line and all associated hangers/brackets that feeds Freshman Academy-Contractor to Run Boilers to ensure there are no steam leaks (Contractor responsible for removal of all trash and Debree from work)-Repair brick wall where lines once penetrated exterior brick walls. Freshman Academy Remove heat exchanger and all associated parts such as (valves-pneumatic controls and lines-Isolation valves-piping/insulation (Prep/cut back/rework domestic cold-water feed to be tied into new boilers being installed Location to be determined by owner). (Contractor responsible for removal and disposal of all associated trash and Debree). Remove AHU#1 and all associated controls-duct work and insulation to be cut back far enough to allow installation and retro fit of new unit-Remove controls and wiring as needed (to be determined by owner). (Contractor responsible for removal and disposal of all trash and associated Debree). Install New AHU#1 contractor supplied with free cooling capability/fresh air bypass-tie in to fresh air intake-tie in fresh air controls to existing control panel in pent house-tie in to existing duct work-repair install duct insulation as needed-Tie in all associated piping/valves/isolation valves/pipe insulation-Tie in to electrical panel-tie in to control panel located in penthouse-remove 3 existing pneumatic actuators and install 3 new contractor supplied DDC controls and valves-tie in new DDC controls to existing control panel ensure proper communication and operation between panel and controls (One actuator located in HV Fan room top floor).Contractor responsible for initial startup and run through of equipment and controls to ensure proper operation of unit and controls-start up report to be submitted to owner.(Contractor responsible for removal of all associated trash and Debree). Remove Condensate return tank (Salvage Condensate Return tank for reuse in 1922 Building) and all associated electrical wiring-conduit back to panel/controls-valves-piping-steam traps-hangers-brackets etc. (Contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of all trash and associated Debree). Contractor to remove old condensate return tank from basement in LHS 1922 Building and disconnect from electrical disconnect and existing piping as needed-Contractor to remove and replace 20 feet of 2 1/2 " black pipe-2 1/2 " black union that ties in to the rear of the condensate tank leaking towards unionContractor to install pad under condensate tank prior to installing salvaged tank to create barrier between tank and floor (Dirt)-Contractor to install Salvaged condensate return tank from the Freshman Academy-rework pipe tie ins as needed-replace electrical disconnect-replace electrical whip-Tie in main electrical feed from disconnect to Salvaged condensate tank-Perform initial start-up and submit report to owner. (Note no controls associated with the set up just main power feed |
