Description | Contractors are invited to submit sealed bids for the Washington Community High School Phase 02 Parking Lot Repaving. The project consists of the repaving of existing (east) parking lot across Jefferson Street from main campus at Washington Community High School. Work includes providing all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, tools/equipment, services and associated work for this project as set forth in the Contract Documents. Receipt of Bids: Bids for "All Work" will be received until Thursday, March 3rd , 2022 at 2:00 p.m. local time, in the Superintendent's Office at Washington Community High School, Washington, Illinois. Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud and recorded. Bid shall be held good and not withdrawn for SIXTY (60) calendar days from the date of bid opening. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site, and all such visits shall be arranged through the Owner - Please contact Ryne Meardy at 309.214.0544 to arrange. All requests for clarifications or interpretations shall be made to the Architect in writing and will be answered by Addendum when appropriate. All questions are due to the Architect by Monday, February 28th, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. local time, after this time no additional questions will be reviewed prior to the bid opening. Commencement of the work on the project shall be subject to the discretion of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Bids on all work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act", 820 IL CS 130/0.01 et seq., the "Equal Employment Opportunity Clause" - rules of the Illinois Human Rights Commission, the "Illinois Drug Free Workplace Act" and all other applicable and governing laws and ordinances.
